Clarifying Cloud Automation

My name is Chris Alleaume. I'm from South Africa originally, but now living in Austin, Texas, USA.

I currently work for Dell Technologies as an Advisory Solutions Principal.

During my tenure at various companies over the past few years, I've had the opportunity to attend some under-the-hood training at DynamicOps, the creators of vRealize Automation, then called DCAC or VIS Creator. I’ve worked with the VMware I&A team for over 6 years, and I used to specialize in the extensibility and customization of vRA and vRO, while bolstering further automation with whatever technologies I'm fortunate enough to get my hands on like Ansible, NodeJS, ServiceNow etc.

Some of the more recent experience that I like to share is related to Infrastructure-as-Code and DevSecOps, which is still changing every day. Leveraging the power behind a SDLC, CI/CD Pipelines and integrations for infrastructure management starts to precipitate many benefits!

I decided to start blogging about content which I feel helps readers like you, who may have run into the same challenges I have, or simply want a bit more information in a well worded, understandable layout.
